Lakka Bay House
Lakka Bay House has magnificent views over Lakka Bay to the west coast of Corfu and to the mountains of the Greek mainland.
The House is surrounded by olive trees on hillside terraces above the sea. 200 metres away from the House, a stepped pathway (uneven in parts so possibly a challenge for those with a mobility problem) leads to Lakka waterfront, skirting a beach and olive groves, in just 10 minutes.
The beach below, and a small taverna, is just a 5-minute walk away. The olive grove path has a string of lights from tree to tree so that the walk by night is made easy.
Originally an 18th Century family house, Lakka Bay House is being brought into the 21st Century with a high standard of modern comfort but keeping the feel of a spacious home.
A narrow car track leads from Lakka, up a hillside of olive groves towards the lighthouse on the west coast. Three quarters of a kilometre up this track a private driveway leads to the private grounds of Lakka Bay House.

Location: car hire recommended but not essential. The tavernas, shops and boat hire at Lakka are a walk of 12 minutes. The beach (Harami) below is a 7-minute walk; the west coast lighthouse beach is a 10-minute walk.
Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom; bathroom with shower. First floor of two double bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room.
