A narrow car track leads from Lakka, up a hillside of olive groves towards the lighthouse and Planos beach on the west coast. Three quarters of a kilometre up this track is the entrance driveway to the recently completed Lakka Bay Retreat.
Lakka Bay Retreat has delicious views over Lakka Bay to the west coast of Corfu and to the mountains of the Greek mainland. The villa enjoys a private theatre of a valley of silver-leafed olive trees and the arrival and departure of visiting yachts against the bay's turquoise sea. Perhaps even more dramatic by night.
The villa is surrounded by olive trees on hillside terraces above the sea. 300 metres away a stepped pathway (uneven in parts so possibly a challenge for those with a mobility problem) leads to Lakka waterfront, skirting a beach and olive groves, in just 15 minutes.
The beach below, and a small taverna, are just a 5 - 10 minute walk away. The olive grove path has a string of lights from tree to tree so that the walk by night is made easy.
Private swimming pool 10 x 3 metres & depth 1.60 metres
Maid service three times per week & linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire is recommended but not essential. The tavernas, shops and boat hire at Lakka are a walk of 15 minutes. The beach (Harami) below is a 5 - 10 minute walk; the west coast lighthouse beach is a 10 - minute walk and Planos beach is a 15 - minute walk. Loggos is 10 minutes by car and Gaios is 20 minutes.
Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. Lower ground floor of three double bedrooms (all can convert to a twin), each with an en suite shower room.
