Villa Marianna sits privately, next door to the Round House. It has a secluded hillside location in the small hamlet of Apergatika, close to Lakka.
The villa, built of stone, is above the beaches of Monodendri and Lakkos on Paxos’ east coast, half way between Loggos and Lakka. The beaches are just a 10 minute walk away via an olive grove path.
Marianna has stunning views over valleys of silver olive and dark green cypress trees and across the sea to the mountains of the Greek mainland.
The villa's special location allows one to follow the slow progress of fishing boats, yachts and ferries from other Ionian islands. By night there is a theatre of twinkling lights from the mountain villages on the mainland.
Villa Marianna is furnished comfortably and elegantly both inside and out. A large “outdoor” kitchen opens on to the pool terrace and a series of stone pathways, bordered by citrus and olive trees, a large jacaranda tree, bougainvillaea, jasmine, hibiscus, plumbago and oleander.
At one end of the nearby Monodendri beach there is Bastas Taverna (beachside dining) and at the other end: Ben’s Bar (with resident masseur and ambient music to accompany a long list of cocktails) and on a hillside terrace above is Eftihia (Ben’s mum)’s excellent taverna.
Villa Marianna has the modern comforts of a home rather than just a holiday villa.

Location: Lakka, 1 kilometre away, is a 15-20 minute walk (partly up hill on way back). Car hire recommended for ease of access and to explore the island. 5 minute drive to shops, tavernas, boat hire and beaches of Lakka. Loggos is also a 5 minute drive away.
Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; master double bedroom and en suite bath & shower room. Lower floor of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each with an en suite shower room. Pool terrace and outside kitchen.
