A narrow road leads out of Gaios towards the inland village of Ozias, running parallel to the Gaios waterfront.
From Ozias, one road leads down to Mogonisi Bay on the east coast and another road passes through a beautiful wilderness of ancient olive groves to the village of Bogdanatika.
Villa Korpithi hides away in this wilderness of olive groves with dramatic views over the valley below, the entrance to Gaios harbour, the tiny offshore island of Panagia and across the sea to the mountains of the Greek mainland.
The many tavernas, shops and café bars of Gaios are just a 6 minute drive away. A hired boat can be moored on the waterfront. Mogonisi Bay, where there are two excellent tavernas above a sandy beach, is a 6 minute drive in the other direction.
There is a general store and café bar, run by Yakovos, in Ozias village - just a 5 minute walk away.
