Villa Isidora sits directly above the sea on the east coast of Paxos, just a few bays north of Gaios. The grounds extend to the water’s edge.
The villa has dramatic views across the sea to the Greek mainland and to the tiny island of Panayia, at the entrance to the port of Gaios.
Just below the swimming pool a few steps lead to the sea via flat rocks.
Isidora is about 50 metres away from Villa Anastasia. Each of these villas has one swimming pool and each contains a lower apartment with one bedroom and an upper apartment with two bedrooms. We feel that they are more suited to parties wanting to take the whole villa (for up to 6 people) or even both villas together (for up to 12 people).
Private pool 8.5 x 4.5 metres & depth 0.50 – 1.8 metres
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: Villa Isidora is just over half a kilometre from the shops and tavernas of Gaios (a walk of 15 - 20 mintes) but car hire is recommended for ease of access. 2 minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk to nearest beaches.
Accommodation:
Each floor has a separate external entrance. The lower floor opens out on to the swimming pool terraces and has one double bedroom suite with sitting area; en suite bathroom with shower; dining area and kitchen. The upper floor has two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom with shower and the other with en suite bathroom with bath; open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen.
Facilities:
I just wanted to say thank you - we had the most lovely holiday in Paxos last week. The villa was great, fabulous location, and we loved being able to drop into the sea from the garden. Dimitris and team were fantastic too - esp when our flight out was badly delayed, and he sorted out all the consequential issues without any hassle at all. 10/10!
Len's exercise for the day (apart from swimming from the doorstep!) was a 20 minute walk by the sea into Gaios to buy freshly baked bread and croissants - to be enjoyed on our sea terrace looking out over a turquoise Ionian sea. Very vivid memories of a chilled-out Paxos holiday.
What a fabulous holiday we had on Paxos at Villa Isidora this summer. As you indicated, the situation of the villa is truly remarkable and the quality of the house and terrain greater than the pictures might indicate. Spyros and Dina were superbly hospitable and even cooked us dinner one night, plus took us down to the port on departure as our hire car was needed back earlier that day. I feel sure that we will want to return!
