Villa Elissa looks out over Lakka Bay and is a short walk to the village waterfront.
A stepped pathway leads from the villa to Lakka waterfront, skirting a beach and olive groves, in just 5 minutes.
A narrow car track leads from Lakka, up a hillside of olive groves towards the lighthouse on the west coast. Half a kilometre up this track are the private grounds of Elissa.
The villa consists of two traditional stone houses, which have been modernised tastefully to provide a high standard of comfort.
The villa has privacy; large outside areas for both sun and shade; magnificent views over Lakka Bay to watch the comings and goings of sea craft; a peaceful setting and a short distance to both Lakka village and the lighthouse beach.

Location: The tavernas, shops and boat hire at Lakka are a walk (stepped pathway) or a drive, each of under 10 minutes. A path from Lakka waterfront leads to beaches within Lakka Bay. The lighthouse beach is under a 5 minute drive.
Accommodation:
The two stone buildings are joined at the hip with a covered sitting area in between. One building has an open-plan sitting room, with 1 double sofa bed, dining area and kitchen. The other building has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom; two bathrooms each with shower.

Villa Elissa had everything we wanted. It was comfortable and spacious, well laid out, and the wifi worked well.
The patio and pool were excellent. It was great that we could walk into Lakka, and not have to worry about parking and having a glass or two of wine.
Lakka itself was superb, with a good range of bars and restaurants. The standard of food was excellent. It would be great to have some of the tavernas back home, but the views wouldn’t be the same.
We loved the informality of doing business on Paxos (car and boat rental for example).

We have just returned from two weeks in Villa Elissa. It has been an excellent holiday. The villa is in a perfect spot.
It is very comfortable and well appointed. We had no need for a car. The walk into Lakka is easy, down hill and in about ten minutes. Walking back took us about 15 minutes but is not difficult and the view of the bay as you climb is spectacular. When we wished to go further afield the local bus and taxi services were fine.
There is also some good local walking. However Lakka Bay is so lovely that we were mostly happy to sit and watch its ever changing colours and the comings and going of the boats either from the villa or a bar for most of our time.
Dina, the maid, provided excellent care of the villa and grounds. We loved the white robes and slippers provided with each change of bedlinen.
In particular, you agent in Lakka, Dimitris was exceptional. Nothing was too much for him to organise. He was ever cheerful, highly efficient and responded very promptly to any request. We cannot thank him or his colleague in the office enough.

We had a fantastic stay in the villa and cannot think of any faults. Getting down to the village and beach was easier than we thought it would be and whilst a car is good for exploring the island I don’t think it is a necessity for anyone who is half fit.

Our boxes are hard to tick - uninterrupted sea views, walking distance to tavernas & beaches, privacy, large pool, modern comforts and not at a silly price. But tick them you did. We'll be back for more.

So peaceful - a cup of tea on the decking - boys still sleeping, only the buzz of cicadas and the distant wakening harbour.
