Not everyone wants a villa with a swimming pool. If you have a beach on your doorstep, the sea is your natural swimming pool. Even so, it’s hard to find a villa on Paxos just above the sea.
The Beach House is just a 3 minute walk away from a beautiful beach.
Located on the east coast, 2 kilometres south of Gaios, the Beach House looks out across the sea to the Greek mainland and along Paxos’ coastline to the tiny Panagia island, opposite the entrance to Gaios harbour.
The house is not a modern, ritzy villa – its Italian owners have created a comfortable home for those wanting to escape busy, noisy lifestyles and relax in a natural theatre of soft colours: white floors, walls and wooden ceilings with light blue fabrics balance with the sea and white pebbles below.
The Beach House is surrounded by hillsides of olive groves, pine and cypress trees and myrtle bushes.
By night the twinkling lights of mountain villages on the Greek mainland are visible.
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire recommended. Gaios (a good selection of tavernas, shops and boat hire) is a drive of 5 minutes. Mongonisi (sandy beach, a taverna and a café bar) is 1 kilometre away. Paxos Beach Hotel (tennis and restaurant) is 500 metres away.
Accommodation:
Ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom; bathroom with shower. First floor of one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower; one twin bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower; one single bedroom.

Who needs a pool when you have the sea on your doorstep. Beautiful house, sublime views. Theo's taverna at Mongonisi had great food.
