Gaios is the capital village of Paxos – intimate and colourful, its main square has a waterfront which continues around the sheltered harbour and is lined with pastel-coloured Venetian houses, small bars and tavernas.
Excursion boats from Corfu arrive daily to fill the narrow, pedestrianised village lanes with visitors for a few midday hours. Otherwise the atmosphere is sleepy and waterfront activity centres around the arrival of yachts, local fishing boats and small hire boats – an enjoyable theatre viewed from a shaded waterfront bar.
Angelika is just a 2-minute walk away from the Gaios waterfront (reached by a narrow pedestrianised street and a flight of 10 steps). Close to village life but with a private and peaceful garden to be alone.
The waterfront and the street below Angelika are pedestrianised - the location is quiet but conveniently close to all the attractions of Gaios village. A hired boat can be moored a few minutes’ walk away (to explore the island’s coastline) and the nearest beach is an 8 minute walk.
We consider Angelika to be one of the prettiest and most comfortable houses in Gaios.
Angelika’s garden has a Jacuzzi (4 x 3 metres) with “swim jet”
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire not needed but there is a private parking area. Just a 2 minute walk to the main square of Gaios. Speedboats depart every half hour from the square to reach the sandy beaches of AntiPaxos – or one can take a hired boat across – a journey of around 20 minutes.

Facilities:
Villa Angelika was perfect. We've been to Paxos many times and always love the island but this time the villa made our stay better than ever. The owner kindly picked us up from the port and showed us around the villa.
The inside of the villa is lovely; it's homely, flows really well downstairs from well stocked kitchen, through the dining area to the comfy lounge and out to the big, beautiful courtyard. The jacuzzi pool is relaxing and great for cooling off. It all has a very Greek cottage feel. The bedrooms are superb, with such comfy beds and plenty of storage. The main bathroom has a great rain shower.
Best of all was the location. We could wander down for early evening cocktails in no time. The fabulous bakery was less than a minute away. Everything was within easy walking distance. 10/10
The accommodation was wonderful and we had a very happy time there. The attention to detail and the designer touches were much appreciated.
The weather was good apart from one rainy day when we were grateful that we were so close to restaurants and bars - despite it being mid-October, there were plenty of places still open.
I loved Paxos when I was there years ago and it's even better now, more restaurants etc but still feeling very authentic and unspoiled. Happily my partner fell in love with the island as well so we will be back sometime soon!
Thank you all for the most fabulous stay at Villa Angelika last week in Paxos. After 2 years of cancellations it was such a joy to be there and what a well kept secret that garden is!
As a base to explore the island and for our teenage boys to enjoy late nights in Gaios it could not have been more perfect and it was such a treat to have Lola come in and ensure that it was all kept beautifully.
Themis you were SO kind to drop our baggage at the port, whilst I adored having my paddle board out there for early mornings on the harbour, it is bulky to travel with and we were hugely grateful for your help last night.
Thank you again to all the team that made our villa holiday so special. We will certainly be back in years to come and cannot recommend it highly enough.
With thanks and best wishes for the rest of the busy summer season
We had a fantastic time in Paxos, wish we were still there, and hopefully we will be in touch again before long about next year!
Our feedback about the company generally is all positive. We felt at home, well served and in good hands at all times. I think you manage the business between you very well and I have no suggestions as to improvements.
We loved Angelika - beautifully furnished and great to have the buzz of Gaios on our doorstep but with peace and privacy.
We hired a boat from Lefteris - a walk of 3 minutes - and spent our days commandeering our own little beaches on both coasts.
Perfect for us - comfortable & private and an easy walk to Gaios village.
Gaios has some great tavernas (surprisingly good cooking) and waterfront bars - nothing loud or brash but colourful and fun! Angelika has all this on its doorstep but is hidden away.
We had the best time ever in Gaios. The house was perfect, just what we wanted, really part of the village. Fantastic WiFi, my husband had to do some work. Very nicely furnished and calm. The garden is amazing, at night it is like a fairyland, beautifully lit.
Christos was great, helpful and attentive. The cleaner was superb. Discreet and very quick.
The whole thing, apart from BA, could not have been better.
