Andreas and his wife, Vassia, completed the building of their hilltop retreat in 2011. With no immediate neighbours and surrounded by olive groves, there is total privacy.
Vassia is an artist and an art teacher. Her paintings hang in the villa.
Villa Antigoni looks down a hillside of silver olive trees, over the waterfront houses of Gaios port to the forested offshore island of St Nicholas and across the sea to the Greek mainland. The Venetian fortress and the ancient nunnery of the tiny offshore islands of St. Nicholas and Panayia are clearly visible.
The villa’s natural theatre of Gaios and the skies introduces the comings and goings of yachts and fishing boats, constant colour changes and a nocturnal choreography of twinkling harbour lights and the stars.
Spacious interiors on the first floor open out on to an intimate dining terrace, framed by light white curtains, with spectacular views.
The waterfront tavernas and shops of Gaios are just a 10 minute walk away yet there is a special feeling of detached seclusion at the Villa Antigoni.
Private pool 8 x 4 metres & depth 0.85 - 1.8 metres. There is a child-safety gate to close off the pool terrace from the villa.
Maid service 5 days per week & linen change twice weekly

Facilities:
So great to be away from media doom & gloom about Covid. Paxos is beautiful and Antigoni was the perfect hideaway from the world outside.
An easy walk into Gaios (not so easy on the way back) where we ate at a different taverna every night - without exception all very good.
We will treasure the views from the villa.
Spent a week at the wonderful Antigoni and had one of our best holidays ever. The villa has breath-taking views. Great to look down at the busy harbour during the day and to watch the lights twinkling in the evening.
Gaios has plenty of good tavernas, all very friendly and welcoming.
Paxos is the prettiest Greek island we have visited.
Can't wait to go back!
We had a sitting room & dining room both inside and outside - very comfy. Quick walk down to Gaios but a sweaty walk back up. It felt like sitting in the gods above Gaios' theatre - amazing views.
Views to die for! Everyone we met said Loggos was the best place to eat but our meals at the waterfront tavernas of Gaios were excellent.
