Anna's Cottage
Anna's Cottage is a recent conversion of a stone house with a pretty, private garden - a romantic retreat for couples wanting to be close to Lakka and Monodendri beach.
The Cottage sits privately on a hillside of a few other traditional houses and olive groves above the road leading down to Lakka, which is 1.5 kilometres away. The small hamlet is called Argiratika.
100 metres away is the track leading down to Monodendri Beach (1 kilometre). At one end of the beach there is Bastas Taverna (serving the best feta pizza we have tasted) and at the other end: Ben’s Bar (with resident masseur and ambient music to accompany a long list of cocktails) and on a hillside terrace above is Eftihia (Ben’s mum)’s excellent taverna with freshly caught fish and freshly plucked ingredients and our favourite lunchtime Paxos view.
From Anna's Cottage's swimming pool and double bedroom there are views over the tops of olive groves and across the sea to the mainland of Greece. By night there is a theatre of twinkling lights from the mountain villages on the mainland.

Location: car hire recommended. Monodendri beach is a 3 minute drive away. Loggos is under a 10 minute drive and Lakka is a 5 minute drive. Loggos and Lakka have waterfront tavernas, shops and boat hire.

Ground floor of an open-plan sitting room (with single sofa bed), dining area and kitchen. 1st floor (accessed by spiral staircase) of a sitting area on wide landing; one double bedroom; bathroom with shower.
