Villa Jasmine is one of three villas (the other two are called Gardenia and Bougainvillaea) on a hillside overlooking the west coast, just outside the tiny hamlet of Vlachoplatika. Looking out to sea, Jasmine is on the far left.
The hillside and the surrounding valleys are beautifully natural: terraces of olive groves, dry stone walls, pine forest and cypress copse.
The positioning of each villa is staggered and bordered by tall pine trees for privacy.
This is a peaceful and secluded part of the island and the views out to sea are dramatic.
Private swimming pool 7 x 4 metres & depth 1.30 – 1.60 metres
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire recommended. The village of Bogdanatika, just under a kilometre away, has 2 tavernas and a supermarket. Magazia, about a kilometre away, has 2 tavernas, 2 café bars and a minimarket. It is a 10 minute drive to the shops, tavernas, boat hire and beaches of Loggos, Lakka or Gaios, and a 10 minute drive to Erimitis beach.
Accommodation:
Open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom; bathroom with shower; private parking area.
Facilities:
The pool man was brilliant. The pool was sparkling every morning (even after the storms) and we never saw a pool attendant!!
The Villa is very well equipped with a very comfortable bed. We would exchange the "day bed" for the aluminium lie outs with cushions. They are light, moveable, comfortable and dry immediately if the weather is not too good. We were never able to use the daybed as it was always wet and never dried out!!
The relaxed approach of Vangelis and most of Paxos helped make our holiday. We loved it.
We had dinner in Averto and Alexandros. Both very good with the latter more authentic.
Lunch in Nassos in Loggos is also good with very drinkable house wine.
