On Corfu's beautiful north east coastline, half way between Nissaki and Agni, a tiny stone chapel nestles into the cliff just above the sea. The chapel was built in the 16th Century to honour Saint Arsenios.

Above the chapel, surrounded by olive and cypress trees, Villa Vassiliki commands dramatic sea views and is conveniently close (by car) to a string of coves and beaches and seafront tavernas.

This part of Corfu caters well for those who like sheltered sea bathing, boat hire, watersports and a good choice of restaurants.

The pretty bay of Agni, with seafront tavernas of repute and a beach, is a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive.

A steep series of steps leads down to a bathing platform but only recommended for those fit enough to cope with the climb back up.

The villa has stunning views across the sea to the coastline stretching between Albania and Greece and along Corfu’s east coastline to the Venetian fortifications of Corfu Town. At night, the twinkling lights of Corfu Town are visible.

Recently completed, Vassiliki has high standards of comfort and has good privacy.

Location: car hire recommended for ease of access to the many coastal beaches, villages and tavernas. Nissaki and its shops, tavernas, beach and boat hire, is 2 kilometres away. Kaminaki and Barbati (with water sports) are 3 kilometres away. Corfu Town is a distance of 28 kilometres.

Accommodation: entrance to first floor: open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with bath and shower; one twin bedroom and en suite shower room; cloakroom. Staircase to lower (poolside) floor of two double bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room; one twin bedroom leading to a further twin bedroom (small so better suited to children); bathroom with bath and shower; utility room.
