The small east coast port of Benitses lies 12 kilometres south of Corfu Town. There are beaches on either side of the port, which has a pretty waterfront of village houses, shops, tavernas, café bars and bakeries. The port has a marina for local fishing boats, boats for hire and yachts. A colourful scene for people-watching from one of the café bars.

On the outskirts of Benitses port, on a hillside of olive groves, Villa Oleandra looks out over large private grounds and across the sea to the mountains of Epirus, on the Greek mainland.

The pool terraces are bordered by established, colourful gardens of crimson and purple bougainvillaea, pink and white oleander, orange and pink Contessa Sara, red hibiscus, lilac jacaranda and silver-leaved olive trees.

Villa Oleander has total privacy and enjoys a peaceful location close to the beaches, tavernas and shops of Benitses.

Location: car hire recommended for ease of access to all parts of the island but for those not wanting to hire a car, there is a nearby bus service to Benitses and to Corfu Town. The nearest taverna (Arokaria) is just a 2 minute walk away. The nearest beach is just 300 metres away. The shops and tavernas of Benitses are 2 kilometres away.
