Bouka beach is a small sandy beach close to the south eastern tip of Corfu, just beside the mouth of a river, which runs through the nearby village of Lefkimi.

Lefkimi is a village with a port, which has a ferry connection to the Greek mainland and Paxos. The village of simple, traditional houses has minimarkets, bakeries, riverfront tavernas and café bars but it is a sleepy village with limited nightlife.

Bouka Beach House is directly on Bouka beach. The garden leads to the beach, which shelves gently into the sea. A 5 minute walk north along the beach leads to a beachfront taverna and a 5 minute walk south leads to Melikia beach.

Views are across the sea to the mountains of the Greek mainland.

This is not a busy stretch of coastline and with just two other beach houses, the immediate beach area beside the house is usually deserted.

Location: car hire recommended. 5 minute walk to a beachfront taverna and a 20 minute walk (5 minute drive) to Lefkimi. 3 large supermarkets are only a 10 minute drive away. A 15 minute drive takes you to the west coast with the spectacular beaches of Gardenos/Vitalades and Santa Barbara - wide sandy beaches with a good selection of tavernas. Boat hire and watersports available nearby.  Corfu Town is a 50 minute drive.

Accommodation: steps up to entrance floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one twin bedroom and en suite bathroom; cloakroom. Upper floor of three double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom.
