Just above Nissaki, on Corfu’s north east coast, foothills of olive groves contain a growing number of holiday villas and small hotels. Climb further up and you are quickly in a more countrified and secluded landscape, rich in olive and cypress trees.

Kastelli has total privacy with no immediate neighbours. Its hilltop location offers stunning views along Corfu’s coastline and across the sea to the mountains of the Greek and Albanian mainland. By day a panorama of dark green cypress, silver olive and turquoise sea; by night a theatre of distant twinkling lights and stars.

Kastelli will satisfy those with high expectations of comfort. Spacious, cushioned living areas open out on to large terraces, bordered by colourful cascades of crimson bougainvillaea. Dining and relaxing areas comfortably accommodate twelve people but there are more intimate terraces for those wanting privacy. Six strides from the main house is the equally spacious guest house. All in all, a perfect venue for two families.

Such is the special beauty of Kastelli that many guests choose not to venture out that much and we can provide a variety of services to cater for those who prefer to languish at home.

Adults will enjoy the peace and quiet of a refined retreat and for teenagers, there are speakers round the pool and the main house has a basement, which has a cinema room with DVDs and large sofas.

Kastelli is one of the most private and comfortable escapes on Corfu’s north east coast.

Location: car hire essential. Nissaki beach, boat hire and nearby tavernas are a 10 minute drive. Kaminaki beach is a 12 minute drive. Agni and Kouloura are a 15 minute drive. Kassiopi and Corfu Old Town are a 30 minute drive.

Accommodation:

The main house has a ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; cloakroom; master double bedroom and en suite bath and shower room; two double bedrooms with a shared shower room. Open-plan basement with cinema and twin beds, suitable for teenagers or children; shower room.

The guest house has an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchenette; two double bedrooms; large  shower room.
