The Mon Repos Hotel is just above the sea on the edge of Garitsa Bay, one kilometre away from Corfu Old Town. The airport and port are just a five minute taxi ride away.

An esplanade, lined with purple blossoming Judas trees, leads from the hotel to the Old Town skirting the sea and passing grand, Venetian waterfront houses and the excellent tavernas of Garitsa.

Corfu Town has preserved the fine architecture of Venetian, French and English occupation; a stroll through the maze of narrow streets will enamour both the historian and the romantic sightseer.

Just opposite the hotel is a wooden pontoon, used by fishermen and bathers, a small beach used by the locals of Garitsa and the Nautilus café bar with its landmark windmill.

A 2-minute walk away is a beach and excellent cafe/restaurant called "Royal Baths" - once the private bathing beach for the Greek Royal family and friends residing at Mon Repos Palace on the hill above.

Here there is a peaceful sense of being a long way from the bustling town of Corfu – yet only a 15 minute walk away.

Mon Repos Hotel is a stylish, comfortable and very reasonably priced hotel. The 190 rooms have a choice of inland views, side sea views or “full” sea views - only a few Pounds extra for the better views (subject to availability). Sea views are across the Bay to the Old Venetian Fortress and the Greek mainland.

Each room has an en suite modern bathroom, mini fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, WiFi, hairdryer, safety box, satellite TV, air-con and a balcony.

The hotel has a small swimming pool, a restaurant (hearty breakfast buffets) and a café bar.

The hotel is an Adults Only property for guests over the age of 18.
