Sofos
Sivota, on Lefkas’ south coast, is arguably the prettiest port on the island. Hillsides of olive groves surround and shelter the port on three sides. The village waterfront has a good selection of tavernas, shops and bars. Visiting yachts jostle for mooring position with local fishing boats.
Most of our properties on Lefkas are a distance inland and require a car to reach waterfront tavernas; from Villa Sofos it’s just a 18 minute walk.
Perched on one of the olive-clad hillsides above Sivota, Sofos sits next door to Villa Makia. Each villa has good privacy and does not overlook the other.
Sofos has stunning views over the sheltered bay and across the sea to the islands of Meganissi, Atokos and Arkoudi.
Sofos’ theatre is the ever-changing activities in the port below – enjoyed from the villa’s comfortable terraces.
Sivota has a small shingle beach. The immediate coastline has other beaches and boat hire from Sivota waterfront will open up coastal exploration and daytrips to the neighbouring island of Meganissi. The beaches of Ammouso and Afteli are only a 15-minute drive.
Sofos is a spacious, modern retreat with good privacy.

Location: car hire recommended. Sivota, a 18 minute walk away, has two supermarkets, a variety of tavernas and cafe bars and boat hire. Beaches with waterfront tavernas can be found at Poros (10 kms north) and Vassiliki (8 kms south west) where there are windsurfing and scuba facilities. Lefkas Town is 32 kilometres.
Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and en suite shower room. First floor of two double bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room. Lower floor studio of one twin bedroom, en suite shower room, open-plan sitting room and kitchen; gym.
