Villa Leukas is on a hilltop above pretty Rouda Bay and the seaside village of Mikros Gialos, with spectacular views over the Ionian Sea to the neighbouring islands of Meganissi, Arkoudi, Ithaca and Cephalonia. The villa's dramatic panorama also takes in a natural wilderness of forested hillsides on the other side of the bay.

Secluded and sheltered Rouda Bay is located at the south end of Lefkada island between the ports of Nidri, Sivota and Vassiliki. Mikros Gialos is a small beachfront hamlet below the picturesque hillside village of Poros.

Villa Leukas is a comfortable escape from the crowds with complete privacy and a variety of terraces to enjoy both sun and shade and the big sea views.

Maid service & linen change twice weekly

Private swimming pool 12 x 6 metres & depth 1.25 - 1.75 metres. Wide access steps into the shallow end.

Location: car hire essential. Parts of the access track are unmade so we recommend a 4WD or 2 small cars with good ground clearance. Nearby Mikros Gialos (a drive of around 15 minutes) has two good tavernas and a small minimarket. The village of Poros has 2 excellent family owned tavernas who can provide home cooked food to eat in or take away. The port of Sivota is a drive of 20 minutes and has more tavernas, minimarkets and a bakery. Busier Nidri is a drive of 25 minutes. Mikros Gialos has a small traditional fishing port at one end with an attractive beach at the other. Near the port, the San Nicholas Hotel has a good selection of bars and restaurants, some of which offer beach umbrellas and sun beds with beach service. Motor boats can be hired from the hotel, with paddle boards, pedalos and kayak excursions available from the beach.

Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen plus, on a separate level, a second living area. First floor of one double bedroom and en suite shower room. Lower ground floor of one double bedroom and en suite shower room; one double bedroom (can convert to a twin) and en suite bathroom with bath.
