Sivota, on Lefkas’ south coast, is arguably the prettiest port on the island. Hillsides of olive groves surround and shelter the port on three sides. The village waterfront has a good selection of tavernas, shops and bars. Visiting yachts jostle for mooring position with local fishing boats.

Sivota has a small shingle beach. The immediate coastline has other beaches and boat hire from Sivota waterfront will open up coastal exploration and daytrips to the neighbouring island of Meganissi. The beaches of Ammouso and Afteli are a 20-minute drive. 

Perched on one of the olive-clad hillsides above Sivota, Poseidon has stunning views over the sheltered bay and across the sea to the islands of Meganissi, Atokos and Arkoudi.

Poseidon's theatre is the ever-changing activities in the port below. By night the twinkling lights of waterfront tavernas have a magical effect.

Poseidon is a spacious, modern retreat with good privacy. A long pool terrace incorporates an outside kitchen and dining area to enjoy the dramatic views.

Poseidon has a sister villa, Orizontas, set privately on a higher hillside terrace.

Location: car hire recommended - at present the access track is not asphalted so jeep hire is advised. Sivota, a 10 minute drive away, has two supermarkets, a variety of tavernas and cafe bars and boat hire. Beaches with waterfront tavernas can be found at Poros (10 kms north) and Vassiliki (8 kms south west) where there are windsurfing and scuba facilities. Lefkas Town is 32 kilometres.

Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; two double bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room; cloakroom. First floor, an open-plan studio/loft space, has twin beds and a sitting area with a double sofa bed and en suite shower room.
