Villa Melodia stands on a wooded hillside on Lefkas’ east coast with spectacular views across the sea to the mountains of the Greek mainland, where the old fortress of St George can be seen.

The villa is 2 kilometres below the pretty hilltop village of Katouna and 1 kilometre above the small fishing village and port of Lygia. Katouna is one of the oldest villages on Lefkas and has a selection of good, traditional tavernas reached by narrow, cobblestone streets. Lygia has two excellent fish tavernas plus a few bakeries and minimarkets. The nearby stretch of coastline contains a series of gently shelving beaches.

Villa Melodia enjoys total privacy and peaceful seclusion. The gardens and private grounds are enclosed by stone walls.

A new entertainment terrace, incorporating an infinity pool, an elaborate barbecue/dining area) and an outside cinema, is the villa's centrepiece.

Villa Melodia's ground floor is a self-contained apartment but is connected to the other floors by internal staircases.

A menu of freshly prepared breakfasts is in the villa (all at very reasonable prices) for a daily delivery to the villa - to include orange juice, fresh seasonal fruit, eggs, fresh bread, croissants, sweet and savoury pastries, yoghurt, milk, cereals, fresh fruit, a selection of cheeses and thyme scented honey, homemade jams from organically grown fruit, tomatoes, olives, local olive oil and other surprises.

Location: car hire recommended. Katouna village is a 20-minute walk and Lygia port is a 15-minute walk. Lefkas Town is 7 kilometres away. There is a lot to explore on Lefkas and it is only a short drive across the bridge at Lefkas Town to the Epirus coastline on the mainland.

Ground floor of an open-plan sitting room and dining area; one double bedroom; shower room; bedroom with a double sofa bed and en suite bathroom with bath; kitchen. First floor of one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath; one double bedroom and one twin bedroom; bathroom with bath. Second Floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; shower room.

The prices shown are per week for up to 10 people occupying the whole house (all 3 floors). Please ask us for reduced prices for 2-4 people occupying just the first & second floors (when the ground floor remains unoccupied).
