The sandy beaches on Lefkas' west coast are said to be amongst the best in Greece - and some say the best in Europe.

The west coast beach of Egremni is 2.5 kilometres long and backed by dramatic sandstone cliffs. White sand and small pebbles shelve into a chalk-blue sea, making it one of the most photographed beaches in Greece. There is a small beach cantina for snacks and drinks and a small number of sunloungers - otherwise, just a beautiful, natural escape from the world outside! Access to the beach is via a series of concrete and wooden steps (around 300) from a carpark, excursion boats or a hired boat from Vassiliki. Nearby Gialos beach has a car park just above the beach and has two cantinas.

The three Setting Sun Villas are set on separate hillside terraces directly above Egremni beach with panoramic views over the sea and along the coastline. Each villa enjoys a peaceful, dramatic location of natural theatre.

The sun sets directly opposite. Stargazing is a delight with little artificial light in the area to diffuse the clarity.

The Setting Sun Villas are a short drive away from the tavernas and minimarket of Athani village (2 kilometres) and the sandy beaches of Porto Katsiki and Gialos.

Each villa has a private swimming pool 10.50 x 4.50 & depth 1.70 metres

Location: car hire recommended. The Egremni beach carpark is a 10 minute drive away. Vassiliki port is a 20 minute drive. Athani village (tavernas and a minimarket) is a 5 minute drive.

Accommodation:

Each of the 3 villas has its accommodation on one floor: an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; three double bedrooms (one can convert to a twin), each with an en suite shower room.
