The west coast of Lefkas has a series of beautiful sandy beaches set below dramatic cliffs and on higher ground, hillsides of olive groves and pine forest. 

On a hillside of pine trees, overlooking Lefkas’ north east coast, Villa Manona is a sleek and comfortable retreat above the sea – a 15 minute drive to a series of sandy beaches.

Manona is a 5 minute drive away from the pretty hillside village of Kalamitsi, which has a few tavernas and a minimarket. The port of Agios Nikitas is a drive of 15 minutes and has a larger selection of tavernas and shops.

Within striking distance are the beaches of Megali Petra, Avali, Kavalikefta, Kathisma, Porto Katsiki and Egremni.

Manona is a spacious retreat with a special west coast location for sunsets.

Location: car hire recommended. Kalamitsi village is a 5 minute drive away and Agios Nikitas is a 15 minute drive. Further inland are many small roads leading to traditional hilltop villages and hamlets. Good tavernas can be found in the nearby villages of Exantheia, Drimona and Athani. Lefkas Town is a 30 minute drive.

Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; four double bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room; cloakroom. Stairs down to one double bedroom and en suite bathroom.
