Villa Fenella is one of three recently completed villas, set on hillside terraces of olive groves above the bay of Nidri. Fenella is on the top terrace so it has the best views.

The villa has been finished and furnished to high standards of comfort. No expense spared.

Passa beach and the start of Nidri’s waterfront are a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk.

Fenella’s interiors open out on to a large, wrap-around terrace with breathtaking views over the offshore islands of Meganissi, Madouri, Heloni, Sparti, Skorpios and Tsokari, with the mountains of the Greek mainland in the distance.

To one side of the pool terrace is a covered relaxing and dining area with outside kitchen and barbecue.

Nidri and nearby Periyiali have a varied selection of tavernas, shops and bars plus watersports, boat hire and day-cruise boats to visit the islands of Meganissi, Ithaca and Kefalonia and west coast beaches.

On higher ground the more adventurous can explore gorges and waterfalls with the many hiking trails in the area.

The tiny offshore island of Madouri, clearly visible from Fenella, belongs to the Valaoritsi family. The famous Greek poet Aristotelos Valaoritsi lived here with his family. Today the island is still private and the neoclassical yellow mansion dominates the island. Madouri island and house was used as a location for the film "Fedora".

Location: car hire recommended. Nidri has something for everyone but a hire car will give easy access to the southern ports of Sivota and Vassiliki, the beautiful sandy beaches of the west coast and inland mountain villages. Nearby Nidri has small sandy beaches on the village outskirts and pretty Dessimi beach is just a 10 minute drive away.

Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and an ensuite shower room. First floor of one mezzanine twin bedroom (can convert to a double) and ensuite shower room.
