Villa Andromeda is one of five spectacular villas, perched high above the sea on a south coast promontory with breathtaking views across Vassiliki Bay and to the islands of Ithaca and Cephalonia.

There are no other buildings in the vicinity and there is a glorious feeling of peaceful detachment. The villa’s many terraces are akin to comfortable theatre boxes to watch the arriving and departing yachts, fishing boats, small ferries and the occasional school of dolphins.

Ourania, the owner, maintains a high standard of comfort and personal service – a breakfast delivery service is offered (including fresh croissants and pastries); private chef; babysitting; massage and even Mediterranean cooking lessons, can all be arranged with prior notice.

The access track from Vassiliki carries on further up the hillside and then joins an asphalt road, which leads to the beautiful sandy beaches of the west coast.

Location: Vassiliki, a drive of 10 minutes, has many tavernas and cafe bars shaded by eucalyptus trees on the waterfront. The backstreets hold a good choice of supermarkets, bakeries and grocery stores. Ferries depart from Vassiliki to Ithaca (Frikes) and Cephalonia (Fiscardo). Sandy beaches can be found at Porto Katsiki (10 minutes drive) and Egremni (15 minutes).

Accommodation:

Ground floor of an open-plan sitting room with single sofa bed, dining area and kitchen; bathroom with shower. First floor of two double bedrooms (each can convert to a twin), one with en suite bathroom (Jacuzzi bath) and one with en suite shower room plus hamam.
