Octavius
Rachi (pronounced Raki) is a small hamlet of just a few houses on a hillside above a wide plateau of olive groves bordering the seaside village of Nidri on Lefkas' east coast.
Villa Octavius stands on one of the uppermost hilltops of Rachi and looks out over the plateau with spectacular views to the small islands lying offshore and behind to the pine-forested mountains of Lefkas’ interior.
The 360 degree perspective gives a rarely found experience of both sunrise and sunset.
The chapel on the island of Madouri is clearly visible and one can follow the progress of the many yachts, ferries and fishing boats entering and leaving Vlicho Bay.
The villa’s many balconies and terraces have total privacy. Sea breezes cool the carefully designed outside living areas: the covered dining terrace, the alfresco sitting room, the hammock penthouse, the Jacuzzi garden.
Octavius provides a comfortable and spacious retreat with a different view for every minute of the day.
The owners, Steve and Monica, live privately and unobtrusively in an apartment below the villa and are able to assist with anything if needed. Steve has 30 years experience of the Ionian seas - he will happily arrange a private Marine Adventure trip for Ophelia guests.
Private pool 8 x 5.20 metres & depth 1.40 – 2.40 metres
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire recommended. The many tavernas, shops and boat hire at Nidri are a 10 minute drive. The beach at Dessimi is a further drive of 5 minutes.

First floor of two double bedrooms each with en suite shower room; one twin bedroom and en suite shower room. Chill-out hammock tower. Poolside bathroom with shower.
