Half way down the east coast of Lefkas the offshore islands of Skorpios, Meganissi, Madouri, Sparti and Skorpithi mark the entrance to the sheltered bay of Vliho.

The marina and town of Nidri lies on one side of the bay and the seaside village of Geni hides away amongst silver olives on the other side. A narrow track follows the bay's coastline north and leads to the private setting of Villa Monadiki.

Set on a hillside of olive, cypress and pine trees, Villa Monadiki is totally private and has magnificent views across Vliho Bay, up to the island’s central range of mountains, across the sea to the offshore islands of Skorpios and Madouri and in the distance, the mountains of the Greek mainland.

Sea-facing terraces overlook a natural theatre of visiting yachts, local fishermen and the Nidri to Meganissi island ferry. 

Waterfront tavernas and a mooring point for a hired boat are a walk of 20 minutes.

Location: car hire recommended. The seaside village of Geni is a 20 minute walk and has 4 waterfront tavernas and a minimarket. The pretty beach of Dessimi Bay is a 10 minute drive. Nidri (watersports, many tavernas, excellent bakeries and supermarkets) is a drive of 15 minutes.

Accommodation:

Ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. Stairs down to children's sitting room and gaming/entertainment system. First floorof two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, each with an en suite shower room.
