The west coast of Lefkas has a series of beautiful sandy beaches set below dramatic cliffs and on higher ground, hillsides of olive groves and pine forest. Agios Nikitas is the only west coast port.
Inland from the pretty port of Agios Nikitas is the village of Kalamitsi.
Villa Chiara has a stunning panorama of the rooftops of Kalamitsi, the surrounding natural hillsides and mountainsides and across the sea toward the island of Paxos.
With total privacy, Chiara is a spacious retreat for up to 20 people with a special west coast location for sunsets.
The property consists of two sets of accommodation joined at the hip and will therefore work well for a large party wanting separate living, dining and kitchen areas. There are even two swimming pools.
The pool terraces lead up a few steps to a large dining, kitchen and barbecue area.
Within a 15 minute drive are the beaches of Megali Petra, Avali and Kavalikefta. A few minutes further on are the beaches of Kathisma, Porto Katsiki and Egremni.
The villa has large outside, entertaining areas, carefully designed to provide comfort in both sun and shade.
Chiara’s sunsets are resplendently theatrical and can be enjoyed from the property’s many relaxing and dining terraces.

Location: car hire recommended. Kalamitsi village is a 5 minute drive away and has a small selection of tavernas and shops. Agios Nikitas, a 15 minute drive, has a larger and more diverse selection. Further inland are many small roads leading to traditional hilltop villages and hamlets. Good tavernas can be found in the nearby villages of Exantheia, Drimona and Athani.
Accommodation: the property consists of two, separately accessed wings. One ground floor entrance leads to an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and en suite bathroom. Stairs up to three double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Stairs down from ground floor living area to two double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom.
The second ground floor entrance leads to an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and en suite bathroom. Stairs up to a master double bedroom, sitting area and terrace with jacuzzi. Stairs down from ground floor living area to two double bedrooms (one has a double sofa bed), each with an en suite bathroom.
