Ippokampos
Kefalonia’s south coast has many sandy beaches, some large, some small. Above the sandy beach of Agia Helis, spread out on an under-developed headland surrounding the Bay, there are just nine villas. Each villa has large grounds to ensure total privacy.
Villa Ippokampos (meaning Seahorse) is one of these nine villas. A private property in 2.5 acres with stunning views over Agia Helis Bay and across the sea to the tiny island of Dias and to Zakynthos. The beach is just a 10 minute walk away.
Ippokampos consists of two villas, joined at the hip by a swimming pool, plus two guest houses. A total of 9 bedrooms (and 9 bathrooms) accommodate up to 18 people and the rental price is the same regardless of occupancy. Two people can have the whole property and pay the same as eighteen people.
Just over a kilometre away, inland, is the small village of Svoronata, which has two tavernas and three minimarkets.
The property offers total privacy, elegant and comfortably furnished interiors and exteriors and proximity to some of the best sandy beaches on Kefalonia’s south coast.

Location: car hire is recommended for ease of access to different parts of the island. A good taverna is a 10 minute walk away. Svoronata village has two tavernas and three minimarkets and is a drive of 2 minutes or a walk of 20 minutes. A 5 minute drive away are sandy beaches (some natural and some with sunbeds and tavernas) and boat hire. Argostoli is a 15 minute drive and the airport is a 10 minute drive.

One of the villas has a ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one twin bedroom and en suite bathroom; cloakroom. First floor of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each with an en suite bathroom.
The other villa has a ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one twin bedroom and en suite bathroom; cloakroom; an adjoining studio of a twin bedroom, kitchenette and en suite bathroom. First floor of one double bedroom and one twin bunk bedroom, each with an en suite bathroom.
About 80 metres away there are two guesthouses, one with a twin bedroom and one with a double bedroom (each with an en suite bathroom and kitchenette).
