Some villas on Kefalonia have sea views and some have big sea views. Verikoko has dramatically big sea views.

Just a 5 minute drive from Fiscardo port, Verikoko and its sister villa (100 metres away), Nektarini, have uninterrupted views over a natural headland and across the sea to the islands of Ithaca, Atokos and Lefkas.

As the sun sets behind Verikoko the cliffs of Ithaca’s west coast turn pink.

The villa’s private grounds (1 acre) are fronted by a headland, which is part of a preservation area so no further building is allowed. Verikoko has privacy and tranquillity.

There is a small swimming cove below the villa.

By special arrangement, guests staying at Verikoko have access to the facilities of the Emelisse Hotel (a local charge of 10 Euros per person per day), situated above Emblisi beach in the next bay. Hotel facilities include tennis, squash, a gym and yoga. There is a private pathway of 200 metres from the villa to the hotel.

With an interesting collection of art and furnishings from worldwide travels, the owners have created a comfortable, stylish and colourful home.

Verikoko has a special vantage point to watch the arriving and departing yachts, fishing boats and ferries. Ever-changing views during day and night.

Location: car hire recommended. The waterfront tavernas, bars, shops and boat hire of Fiscardo are a drive of 5 minutes as is Emblisi beach. Other beaches can be accessed via a network of pathways through coastal woodland.

Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with en suite bathrooms. First floor of one double bedroom, sitting area and en suite bathroom.
