Lina is a spacious and modern villa overlooking a wide valley above the sea at Spartia village on Kefalonia’s south coast.

The villa’s grounds open on to a natural landscape of olive groves, pine and cypress trees. The views take in the large bay of Lourdas and the foothills of Mount Aenos. Across the sea, the island of Zakynthos is visible.

There are only glimpses of a few distant rooftops through the pine and cypress trees.

The villa is the result of a family affair. Lina and her father Iorgos, her mother Katy, her brother Yannis and her grandmother Evangelia, run the local village taverna. The villa was built at the centre of the family's vineyard, olive groves and vegetable gardens.

The villa is one of three villas, each being 50 metres apart and partially hidden amongst olive groves.

The location will appeal to those looking for a total escape from the world outside but with the many sandy beaches of the south coast close at hand.

Location: car hire recommended. In the centre of the village there are two mini markets, two café bars and Lina's family's taverna. Spartia has three sandy beaches and the closest is just 1.5 kilometres away from Villa Lina. There are two tavernas above another of Spartia’s beaches. Between Spartia and Argostoli there are many large and small sandy beaches. Argostoli is a 20 minute drive. Nearby Pessada port has a ferry connection to Zakynthos – let us know if you like the idea of a combined Zakynthos and Kefalonia holiday.

Accommodation: ground floor of an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen; one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each with an en suite shower room. First floor of one double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower.
