Svoronata is a pretty, sleepy village just one mile inland from the sandy beaches of Agia Helis, Ammes and Avithos on Kefalonia's south coast. On the outskirts of the village and just above the sea are the large private grounds of Villa Acacia.
With total privacy, Acacia looks out across the sea to the tiny island of Dias and to Zakynthos. If you are looking for a large villa with a large pool, private access to the sea, accommodation on one level (apart from the master bedroom) with a minimum of steps, gardens laid to lawn, peaceful seclusion and a short walk to a local taverna and a sandy beach – Acacia will tick your boxes.
The gardens surround the pool terraces and lead past the Guest House to an orchard of fruit trees and an elaborate outside dining room with a covered barbecue and food preparation area. At the edge of the gardens a flight of steps leads to a rocky cove below.
Sandy Agia Helis beach is just 100 metres away from Acacia's rocky cove.
Kostas, the villa's gardener and caretaker is on call for anything the villa guests may need. The gardens always have fruit or salad vegetables to help oneself to.
Private swimming pool 14 x 5.5 metres & depth 1 - 3.2 metres
Maid service & linen change twice weekly

Facilities:
We are here - kids in pool all unpacked - 3 gone shopping.
Wow wow wow what an amazing place - caretaker a joy along with cleaners!
What a fortnight we are going to have.
Teens love the space and swimming off the rocks and round to the next bay to have drinks at the PROPER Beach Bar as do the adults.
The separate little house is a hit with everyone but that’s mine! Loads of little tavernas to walk to and Costas is a joy as well as the v friendly ginger Tom cat who faithfully meets us at the top of the steps when we come back from a swim!!!
What is not to like!
We all wanted to let you know what an amazing holiday we had at Acacia Villa, Kephalonia. The house, annex and grounds were just gorgeous.
We were blown away by the views and the swimming off the rocks was amazing.
The villa and annex were well equipped - making it easy to self cater.
Thank you again for sticking with us through the pandemic and being so flexible. It will be the last holiday we’ll probably all take together and it was memorable- never to be forgotten.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help with Villa Acacia. We absolutely adored it. Completely perfect for two families and so many wonderful memories were made. The access to the sea was particularly wonderful and all 4 of us adults headed off for morning swims before the children were up - and all 10 of us swam there most afternoons. A complete treat.
The house was perfect - Kostas was fabulous and hilarious trying to use google translate every evening. We tried to tip him as we left as he’d been so wonderful and he resolutely refused. Karron was hugely helpful too and we loved the island.
We will definitely hope to return with these or other friends - sadly not next year as we already have other plans but most definitely in the future. What a very special house and we absolutely loved every minute.
What a fantastic venue for a reunion of family and friends, as for us.
The private gardens were an adventure playground for the children. The grownups spent most of their days lounging on the many pool terraces with an occasional walk down to the sea for the fitter of us.
We had meant to explore the island but Acacia was too nice to leave.
