Dora's House
Vathy, the capital port of Ithaca, has a beautiful horseshoe waterfront of houses overlooking a magnificent bay, flanked by green hillsides.
The port and narrow backstreets have a diverse selection of shops, tavernas and café bars.
Vathy remains pleasantly Greek in its appearance and character.
Dora’s House stands on a hillside of elegant houses on the side of Vathy Bay closest to the nearby Loutsa beach. The centre of Vathy is 500 metres away – a short stroll along the waterfront.
Bordered by olive trees, Dora’s House has stone terraces and balconies with spectacular views over Vathy Bay and across the sea to the island of Ithaca.
Two hillside terraces below Dora's House is Marmika House. The two houses together, with a shared terrace dividing the properties, will provide spacious accommodation for parties up to 11 people.

Location: tavernas, shops, beaches and boat hire are all within walking distance. We would suggest hiring a car for one or two days to explore the island. A hired boat can be moored at the waterfront below the house. On the waterfront walk to Loutsa beach there are two excellent fish tavernas.
Accommodation:
Ground floor of sitting room and dining area; kitchen. First floor of two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom; one bathroom with shower and one bathroom with bath.
The 2 floors are connected by an internal staircase and an external lift, which accesses the twin bedroom. One of the double bedrooms has an extra single bed. One of the double bedrooms and the twin bedroom each have an extra single bed.
