Dexa Beach House 2
Dexa Beach lies within a large bay of olive groves, one kilometre north of Vathy, the island’s capital port. Behind the beach there are just a few houses hidden amongst the olive groves and there exists a sleepy and peaceful atmosphere.
The two Dexa Beach Houses are set amongst the olive groves, just 15 metres from the beach. Dexa Beach House 1 has 2 bedrooms and Dexa Beach House 2 has 1 bedroom.
The House has two terraces, bordered by white oleander and crimson bougainvillaea, and looks out through olive trees to the sea. It is rare to find a property so close to the sea.
The House has been furnished stylishly and comfortably and will appeal to those wanting a simple escape from the world outside with the sound of the sea lapping on to the beach.
There is a simple snack bar/cantina (no music) just above the beach and there is a shaded barbecue area for both Houses. George, the ever-hospitable owner, lives in nearby Vathy and is always available for help and advice.
Maid service & linen change twice weekly
Location: car hire is recommended for ease of access to all parts of Ithaca, which is too diverse to ignore exploration. Vathy (shops, tavernas and boat hire) is just a 5 minute drive.
Accommodation:
One double bedroom; bathroom with shower; small kitchen. Within the grounds there is a separate laundry room with washing machine for both Houses.

"We had a fabulous, wonderful time.
George, the owner, was brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful and kind. He has an amazing ability to appear just at the right moment, with a piece of advice about the weather, the island and the accommodation without ever being overbearing.
He made sure everything was perfect and the holiday wouldn't have been the same without him.
The island was beautiful and the people were friendly and fun.
Can't wait to come back...."
