Melantho and Eurycleia are two neighbouring villas in the small hamlet of Brouzi, 2.5 kilometres south of the island’s capital, Vathy.

Melantho was a maidservant in Odysseus' palace and Eurycleia nursed Odysseus and his son, Telemachus, when they were babies.

From Vathy a road winds its way south through a beautiful, natural, undulating landscape with only a very few houses and dramatic views to sea. This peaceful, southern part of Ithaca produces most of the island’s wine. Surrounding hillsides and valleys contain an attractive patchwork display of vineyards, olive groves, pine forest and hillsides of myrtle and cypress trees.

Villa Melantho overlooks a beautiful, natural wilderness a few kilometres below the village of Perachori and a 10 minute drive south from Vathy.

The two villas are about 30 metres apart but the pool terraces are distanced at the end of each property so privacy is good.

Melantho offers a comfortable and private retreat.
