Damaskina
Damaskina is just a five minute walk from the small and sleepy hilltop village of Spartohori, with its narrow streets of cobblestone and whitewashed houses.
The village has two small minimarkets and three tavernas.
A further ten minute walk from the village takes one down to the little port of Spilia. Spilia’s waterfront has three tavernas and leads to a sheltered beach of white pebbles, backed by olive groves.
Damaskina stands on a hillside terrace of olive groves with beautiful views over Spilia Bay and across to the Greek mainland.

Location: car hire can be arranged but as the port of Spilia is so close, we recommend hiring a boat (with outboard) to explore the coastline of beaches, many of which can only be reached by sea. The ferry to Nidri, on Lefkas, takes 30 minutes but with a hired boat one can get closer to Lefkas’ offshore islands including Skorpios.
