The pretty port of Lakka lies within a sheltered bay at the northernmost point of Paxos. A series of narrow, pedestrianised streets lead past village shops, cafe bars and tavernas and through two small squares to the waterfront.

Excursion boats from Corfu arrive daily to fill the village lanes with visitors for a few midday hours. Otherwise the atmosphere is sleepy and waterfront activity centres around the arrival of yachts, local fishing boats and small hire boats – an enjoyable theatre viewed from a shaded waterfront bar.

Lakka Spitaki (meaning "small house" in Greek) is just a 1-minute walk away from the waterfront and village tavernas. Close to village life but with a private and peaceful courtyard to be alone.

A hired boat can be moored off the waterfront (to explore the island’s coastline and to find deserted beaches). A stepped pathway from the village waterfront leads to Harami beach - a walk of 5 minutes.

Daily maid service and linen change twice weekly.

Location: car hire not needed unless wanting to be out & about exploring the island each day.
