Kalami
Villa Kalami is just above little Stafuchia beach, close to the entrance to Mogonisi Bay, at the southern tip of Paxos. The beach is just a 2 minute walk away.
The coastal road, between Kalami and Stafuchia beach, starts in Gaios (4 kilometres away) and ends at Mogonisi (half a kilometre away) so not a busy road.
Alternatively, a narrow lane leads inland from Gaios to a series of tiny hamlets, hidden amongst olive groves and then Mogonisi.
Kalami’s views are beautiful: across the sea to the mountains of the Greek mainland and to the entrance of Mogonisi Bay. An excellent vantage point to watch passing yachts and fishing boats. By night the village lights on the mainland twinkle.
The walk to the Mogonisi beach (sandy) and tavernas takes about 15 minutes or a drive of just a few minutes. With a hired boat, moored in the bay, one can reach the sandy beaches of AntiPaxos in 15 minutes. Beaches along the coastline towards Gaios are within walking distance.

Location: car hire recommended for ease of access to all parts of Paxos. Theo’s Taverna and Carnayo Gold café & snack bar on the opposite side of the bay, are a 4 minute drive. Gaios is about 4 kilometres.
Accommodation:
Two separate buildings divided by a covered sitting area. One building has a ground floor of one double bedroom and en suite shower room plus a kitchen and a first floor of an open-plan attic room with twin beds. The other building has a ground floor of two double bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room, and kitchen; first floor simple attic sitting room.
