Paxos has around twenty five hamlets. Each one named after the family who originally set up residence there. Hamlet names start with the family name and end in “atika”. Villa Constantina is in a hamlet called Anemoyannatika, just above the port of Loggos, and is owned by one of the Anemoyannis family.

Set on an east coast hillside of olive groves and pine trees, the villa enjoys peaceful seclusion and total privacy.

There’s always a scrabble for adjectives to describe a Paxos view and it is hard to find an appropriate superlative for Constantina’s views, which take in the south-west coastline of Corfu and the mountains of the Greek mainland. But they really are breathtaking.

There are not many houses on this part of Paxos’ coast. Donkey paths lead to nearby beaches and a beautiful natural wilderness above the sea. The tiny port of Loggos is just over a kilometre away.
