Pefka
Pefka is on the east coast of AntiPaxos, above a vineyard and the island's tiny port of Agrapidia, where a hire boat can be moored.
A stepped pathway leads from the villa to a shingle beach in about 10 minutes. The sandy beaches of Voutoumi and Vrika are a walk of 25 minutes or a jeep drive of 5 minutes. There are two tavernas above each of these beaches.
There are footpaths linking all parts of the island and some have been widened to accommodate a jeep.
Pefka is a simple yet comfortable, totally private and well equipped retreat with dramatic views over valleys of pine forest and across the sea to the west coast of Paxos and in the distance, the mainland of Greece.
Transfers: a speedboat transfer (15 minutes) from Gaios (Paxos) to AntiPaxos and jeep transfer to Pefka is arranged by Yannis, the villa owner, and is included in the villa rental price. Yannis accompanies all clients on the transfer and introduces them to his AntiPaxos home.
There are no shops on AntiPaxos. On arrival at Gaios there will be time for you to shop for provisions or we can arrange for provisions to be pre-ordered and delivered to Pefka for arrival day (cost of provisions to be settled locally). Further shopping can be arranged by Yannis or you can use a hire boat to get to shops in Gaios on Paxos.
Yannis can arrange boat hire (prebooked through us) with mooring at the little port of Agrapidia below the villa. A hired boat gives another option for shopping on (or a day trip to) Paxos. Please ask us for boat hire details and prices.
The rental price of Pefka includes the hire of a Suzuki Jimny (4x4) jeep but bring good walking shoes/trainers to negotiate the uneven tracks and paths.
Parents with children should note the drop from the pool edge (see photos).

Location: a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute jeep ride from Agrapidia port. The tavernas above Voutoumi and Vrika beaches are open during the day and occasionally at night during peak season.
Accommodation:
One double bedroom and en suite shower room; one twin bedroom; shower room; open-plan sitting room and kitchen. Poolside there is a covered outdoor kitchen, barbecue and dining area.
