Eagle's Nest
Eagle's Nest's cliff top position in the peaceful, west coast hamlet of Boikatika commands outstanding views over the horseshoe bay below and through bordering olive groves.
An upper terrace, shaded by a tall olive tree, leads to a circular front terrace overlooking the pool terrace and the sea below.
This is an interesting area for walks to nearby, hidden hamlets. A series of ancient, stone-stepped goatpaths lead down to the beautiful beach of Erimitis, where a natural spring was once the sole source of drinking water for surrounding hamlets.
Eagle's Nest has one of the most dramatic positions on Paxos and is not really suitable for young children.
Private pool 7 x 4 metres & depth 1.6 – 1.65 metres
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire recommended. 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) to Magazia (three tavernas, minimarket, general store, bakery) and the Erimitis Sunset restaurant. 10 minute drive to shops, tavernas, boat hire and beaches of Loggos. 10 minute drive to Erimitis beach.
Accommodation:
Sitting room (iPod docking station/WIFI) and dining area; kitchen; staircase to gallery double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. Outside steps down to one single bedroom with en suite bathroom and shower. Barbecue beside pool.
