The small, seaside village of Nissaki, on Corfu's north east coast, offers a good selection of shops, bars and tavernas but has avoided the call for any large scale development.
Nissaki Bay has three pretty coves, each with a sheltered beach and waterfront tavernas.
Villa Aleka stands on a hillside terrace above the bay of Nissaki and has dramatic views along the east coast of Corfu, as far as Corfu Town, and across the sea to the Epirus mountains on the Greek mainland. At night, the twinkling lights of Corfu Town are visible.
Aleka has tall stone walls to ensure privacy and its sea-facing terraces and lawned garden enjoy both sun and shade.
The villa is reached via a winding and fairly steep road of 1 kilometre from the coastal road.

"Thank you for helping organise such a wonderful holiday. We were thrilled with the accommodation and such lovely islands. It has been rather hard to come back down to earth since we landed last week.
I don’t think we would have thought of a two base holiday, or indeed Paxos, but your suggestion has worked out so well. We hope to be back some time before too long."
