Asteria
It would be hard to find a more beguiling location on Lefkas to be at one with sand, sea and sky.
The kilometre long stretch of Kathisma beach, on Lefkas’ north west coast, will appeal to all ages and offers watersports, sunbeds and sun umbrellas, tavernas and bars but also natural and naturist beach areas.
“Asteria” in Greek means “Stars”. Villa Asteria sits privately on an upper hillside terrace above Kathisma beach.
Asteria is surrounded by hillside pine and cypress trees.
The villa’s views are dramatic and theatrical: an immediate foreground of green forest, the shimmering whiteness of beach sand and pebble, the froth of lapping waves, a chalky turquoise sea and in the distance (on clear days) the outline of Paxos and AntiPaxos.
The sun sets directly opposite. Stargazing is a delight with little artificial light in the area to diffuse the clarity.
Villa Asteria is a comfortable and elegant home. Large interiors open out to wide terraces to capture the views and to allow for both sun and shade. A special escape from the crowds in a very special location.
Villa Asteria's neighbour is Villa Fegari ("Moon") – each villa has been carefully designed to ensure privacy and each villa’s pool is located at the far end of each property.
The access track ends at the two villas so no passing traffic. Apart from Villa Fegari, the nearest neighbour is 200 metres away.

Location: car hire essential. Kathisma beach is 300 metres below but the access road is 1 kilometre (a 3 minute drive). Kathisma beach has good tavernas. The pretty seaside village of Agios Nikitas is just a 5 minute drive and has a good selection of tavernas, supermarkets and shops above its beach. A bigger selection of shops, fruit and vegetable markets, and restaurants can be found in Lefkas Town – a 15 minute drive. The beaches of Porto Katsiki, Egremni, Milos and Pefkoulia are all nearby.
