Helena
A narrow country road from Nidri, on the east coast, climbs a hillside of olive and citrus groves for 3 kilometres to reach the small village of Paliokatouna. Here, and in other nearby hilltop villages, a traditional and unhurried way of life survives.
Villa Helena lies between the villages of Paliokatouna and Neochori. The villa has dramatic panoramic views over Nidri and the offshore islands of Skorpios, Sparti, Skorpithi, Meganissi and across the sea to the Greek mainland.
Pool terraces incorporate two large pergolas for comfortable outside dining.
Private pool 8 x 7 metres & depth 1.2 – 1.5 metres
Maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire recommended. There are two local tavernas, each a 5 minute walk either side of the villa. Nidri, a drive of 10 minutes, has a good selection of tavernas, supermarkets, bakeries and a watersports centre and boat hire. Dessimi beach is a 15 minute drive.

"The accomodation was absolutely fab - no criticism at all & we all loved it. Please pass on our compliments.
Your manager was also great getting us in early as we had to abandon the boat at 9 on the Sunday.
We love Lefkas as well although Nidri is the least nice bit of the island to be honest but that doesn't matter when you are up in the hills.
We ate at Dimitris Taverna in the village a few times which was great and went to Bills Bar once which was a fabulous experience."
